The Riverain Outdoor Club will reopen on Tuesday 4th August.
Due to coronavirus restrictions there will be a number of conditions to play at this time.
Occupancy | There will be a maximum of 3 rinks in use at any one time, and no more than six players (a triple) per rink. |
Booking | Rinks will be available in three slots 10:00-13:00, 14:00-17:00 and 18:00-dusk. Rinks MUST be booked in advance by telephone to Dave Jefferies. |
Direction | The direction of play will be from the pavilion to the river only. No play from the indoor club to the railway. This provides the maximum available space for players to maintain social distancing. |
Track & Trace | All players and markers must sign in on a sheet provided by the entrance to the pavilion. |
Facilities | The pavilion is closed, except for signing in (see above) or to obtain the key to the toilets. i.e. No tea, coffee or drinks. The toilets are open. Please use the sanitiser provided. The changing rooms are closed as social distancing is not practicable within them. |
Equipment | Please only use the jacks, mats and scoreboards that have been placed in the conservatory. We recommend that only one person per rink touches the jack, mat and scoreboard. Also the scorecard, if one is used. Also, each player should touch their own woods and use their own measure. Please sanitise the equipment used at the end of your session and replace it in the conservatory. A pedal bin is provided for disposal of sanitising wipes. |
Clothing | The dress code is relaxed for this season for roll-ups, but proper shoes must be worn. The use of face coverings and/or gloves will not be mandated. |
Competitions | The Wednesday League will run, commencing on the 12th August. To enter on any Wednesday, please book your place with Dave Jefferies by the end of the day before. Internal competitions will run where possible. Brian Pyke will call for entries to Singles, Pairs and Triples competitions. |
